How much will my Crane residence cost?
There's no "one size fits all" membership at The Crane; you tailor your purchase to suit your needs. Outright purchase of our beautifully furnished private residences ranges from US$722,000 to $2,723,000, while weeks range from US$8,295 – $87,395. Your membership price will depend upon many factors: number of weeks owned, size of residence, residence location and the time of year. View Residence Prices Here

How are my membership rights legally guaranteed?
The Crane has provided absolute protection of your membership by placing the title to the entire resort into an irrevocable trust administrated by First National Trust Company, the largest timeshare trustee in the world. The trust guarantees your membership rights in perpetuity. Your residence cannot be sold or mortgaged to another party who would not be obligated to honor your rights.

What are some ongoing expenses I should budget for?
With The Crane Resort, your annual weekly fee provides the assurance that your residence will be managed to maintain the superb quality that makes The Crane your choice for membership. The weekly fee has a capped management fee of 10% assuring you, as a member, that 90% of what you pay is used for maintaining the resort, paying taxes and Trustee management fees, and building a reserve fund. The weekly fee account is audited every year and is tied to the US rate of inflation. The only expenses outside of the weekly maintenance fee are “User Fees,” which currently include long distance phone calls and air-conditioning.

Do I have alternatives if I can't use my week(s)?
You can deposit your points for exchange within RCI Points or with Points Partners, or save them up for next year. Week(s) deposited are subject to RCI regulations.

Can I break up my weeks and take two separate one-week vacations, if I own more than one week?
Yes. The flexible RCI Points system allows you to alter your vacation schedule. RCI gives a priority Home Resort booking period for owners; so you, as a Crane member, will be able to book Crane inventory before anyone else.

May I bring guests or rent it to friends? Am I allowed to rent or resell my residence? Am I allowed to let a friend use my villa if I cannot use it myself?
Yes!! Of course. Your residence is yours. The Crane’s one-bedroom two-bath residence accommodates up to four people, the two-bedroom three-bath residence accommodates up to six people, and the three-bedroom four-bath residence, up to eight people.

Are the residences furnished? Should I bring towels or small appliances with me?
Your residence is fully furnished, including anything and everything from a blender, china, linens, saucepans, towels, and corkscrews to salt and pepper shakers. Just bring your clothes and toothbrush!

Is there daily maid service?
Yes, just like at any luxury resort, every day full maid service is provided with linens, towels and amenities, as well as full room service.

How do I know my residence will be ready when I arrive?
There is a complete inspection conducted prior to your occupancy. Inspectors at The Crane have detailed checklists to ensure that everything is in tiptop shape for your arrival.

How can The Crane assist me if I choose to sell my week(s)?
The Crane will refer owners to reputable interval ownership re-sellers; and, once the resort is 90% sold, The Crane will offer a re-selling program.

Can I use a credit card to pay for my Crane residence?
The Crane accepts Visa®, Mastercard®, and American Express®.

Once I'm an owner at the Crane Resort, will there be someone to explain how to use my week(s)?
Step-by-step assistance is available from RCI, through their website (www.rci.com) or by phone; and from your Crane representative by e-mail, fax or phone.

Will there be any sales pressure to make a quick decision?
We can assure you that The Crane will be completely unlike any typical timeshare presentation you may have come across. When you are ready, we will assist you with all the details, even down to planning your first year's vacation. However, we do not utilize any high-pressure sales tactics in working with you to make your decision; The Crane believes that people will recognize a great deal when they see it and come to their own conclusions. The only thing to bear in mind is the pace of sales - which historically have been very brisk.
