The Crane is looking forward to the reopening of a fully renovated L'Azure, The Crane's original restaurant.
Following the structural damage sustained in 2010 during Tropical Storm Tomas, The Crane's design team recognised that after 100 years, this was the perfect time to incorporate some modern features to the restaurant.
Some of the exciting new design features include a tiered dining area to give every diner an ocean view, floor-to-ceiling glass doors for uninterrupted views even on rainy days, and a new lounge where diners can relax and have a pre-dinner cocktail. What will not change will be the spectacular 180 degree views that led the Zagat rating team to declare that L'Azure was “heaven on earth”.
For Chef Michelle Maloney, the reopening will also be an opportunity to introduce new contemporary Caribbean selections to the menu, including Breadfruit and Gooseberry Cheesecake, Rum Rubbed Pork Loin, and many other mouthwatering creations.
Whether for Sunday Gospel Breakfast, a family lunch, or a romantic dinner, L'Azure is not to be missed on a visit to Barbados.
